For a limited period of time after the post was made, allow any user to delete a post made by any other user as long as it's still the most recent post in a thread.

I was thinking something more benign. By posting "unbump" after a "bump," both posts remain, but the thread is moved back to the spot in the forum it was before the bump.

Would the new post notification still light up? If so, this would accomplish nothing for a forum-to-forum browser like myself and many others.
