I hope so too. Her parents are in their 70s, both speak Russian as easy as Ukrainian. They have some geese, and a large garden. Probably frozen now, but they are good at storing food.

Was shocked when I heard about their son’s house though. Roof destroyed. That doesn’t feel like they are as safe as I had hoped.
