this is a good point. this tour has been nothing if not eventful. you have matt out because of covid, the whole reason they couldn’t tour their great new record at all for two years, and a rotating cast of drummers that has been fun for the fans but hardly stress free for the band. plus the singer is now sick with a stomach bug and may still have his own lingering covid issues. and these days they’re all eligible for aarp. fresno was like half sold, it would have been totally understandable if they said fuck it and canceled that show or the rest of tour. but no, they’ve soldiered on, and even gave fresno a show to remember. it’s a credit to them they’re still putting on shows we’re going to be talking about for awhile.

What happens when Mike catches covid? Are they gonna rotate lead guitarists? That could be fun
