Everything about the Imagine Dragons aesthetic is completely repellent to me. "Radioactive" sounds like someone listened to "New Slang" by The Shins and thought "I just wish it had a lot more testosterone, and that the verses had a bunch of dubstep drops". And there is just no way any song with this many "whoa" chants layered in could ever be good.

I'm not sure which one is worse: this or "Believer," another song of theirs that will appear later in this list. In some ways they are the same song.

My buddy's good friend was their touring keyboardist (i believE) and absolutely hated playing with them.

I can understand why they were popular on radio. They are bland enough to prevent most people from changing the station, which is all a modern radio hit is designed to do. What I can't understand is why people would seek them out on Spotify. That suggests people actually like them.

I dunno, it's a "fist pump" song.

I give it 5 bags of popcorn and a big dust-covered drum.
