Dr Doom is very smart and a master of science(interchangeable with magic given the Thor description of science and magic being one and the same), so he essentially figures out how powers work to harness them. Kang is described much the same way. Without knowing motivation it’s hard to say what’s he’s doing, but as an adversary he’s innately scary.

The trailer didn't include that exposition.

Doom looks awesome but honestly he's plated by the same guy as iron man so I'm not confident as to how this is gonna hold up

The rest of the trailer is all over the place.. doom shut down the most powerful one with just 2 fingers so I'm not sure the point of anyone else in that group

yeah, im sure doom will be a "good guy" for most of the movie and caps will be along for some reason. And then BOOOM HAHA I WAS A BAD GUY cut to credits

Doom is gonna betray them and kill everyone and it will end with him "winning" just like Infinity War ended, setting up the next one, because they have no new ideas
