There has to be a Toronto show for LB. And if so, I'll be going!

I'm praying you are right! Early Fall, Red Rocks 2 nighter is what I'm really hoping for!broken iris wrote:southp wrote:There has to be a Toronto show for LB. And if so, I'll be going!
Denver. They really should play Denver in 2014. It's a great city and would be good to the band.
It would be half empty.CopperTom wrote:Is there any Candlestick Park post-49ers concerts or events planned? They didn't play San Francisco this year. I'm not sure if it will be demolished soon, but it would be a cool "Evening with PJ" destination event.
With the baseball configuration with no fans in the outfield that would be 40k -50k. You don't think they would be able to sell it out if there were no other nearby shows?numbers wrote:It would be half empty.CopperTom wrote:Is there any Candlestick Park post-49ers concerts or events planned? I think theyd pretty much have to give away the last 10-15k to have a shot.CopperTom wrote:With the baseball configuration with no fans in the outfield that would be 40k -50k. The stadium is a shithole (so I've been told) and they played Oakland on this tour. While I'd love another west coast tour it's probably not going to happen.CopperTom wrote:Is there any Candlestick Park post-49ers concerts or events planned? They didn't play San Francisco this year. I was thinking more along the lines of the Spectrum than Wrigley. That sold about 80k over 4 nights. 50k with no nearby dates plus the nostalgia factor is more than feasible. Looking back, Candlestick has had it's fair share of history.broken iris wrote:numbers wrote:I think theyd pretty much have to give away the last 10-15k to have a shot.CopperTom wrote:With the baseball configuration with no fans in the outfield that would be 40k -50k. This. IIRC, only Seattle, Brooklyn, and Baltimore sold out day one on the last tour and that was at the height of LB's promotion. And Candlestick is no Wrigley Field.

Hopefully a Wellwater tour.lowlight79 wrote: If not, what was the point?

I thought I just read something about getting McCartney to play it? since the Beatles last concert was there way back in 60whatever? Which would make sense, and, ya know hell sell it out.CopperTom wrote:Is there any Candlestick Park post-49ers concerts or events planned? They didn't play San Francisco this year. Mad Season is the only non Eddie PJ side thing I've ever been able to get into.lowlight79 wrote:E.H. Ruddock wrote:Hopefully a Wellwater tour.lowlight79 wrote: If not, what was the point?
See, I am one of those fans where unless it's ed, I could give two shits's about there side projects. I rather push out a kidney stone.
