Do you know anyone getting married soon? Ask her to come as your +1. That's a safe move because it nudges things in a couples-y direction while also still being a thing that friends can go to together. The way you treat and regard each other in that kinda setting, I dunno, it has a way of clarifying things.
Or, I know it's easier said than done, but you could also just ask her. If she's in her 30s she's likely mature enough to appreciate upfrontness and clarity, and also believe you when you tell her you value her friendship if she turns you down.
You didn't ask for advice but that's would I'd do
