Sorry, Andrew Watt, right? I feel like once a last name is used you need to enforce stage names. I’m too old to keep it straight at this point.

My point remains that it has a sonic resemblance to Earthling, as if they largely just changed the lead singer. Is the album he produced with Ozzy the same deal? I didn’t listen to that one.

Andrew, I think, Watt, has a very bright sounding aesthetic on both albums, and I enjoyed the songs on Iggy Pop’s album as well - though for me a little of the shine on Eddie’s album gets rubbed off if for nothing else that there’s something else out in the world that sounds kind of like it.

yeah, i agree. He productions are really shiny and bright and poppy, the same with the Miley album he did. I love Earthtling because of the songs and mostly Ed´s voice.

I feel the Iggy album is not that strong.

Yesss

She's so good. Pang is an incredible album and a tough act to follow, but she pulled it off

You could tell me that song is on her first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, or ninth album and I’d be like “ok”

I really rate Daughter's 2016 album "Not to Disappear". An album about loss and dementia coming out as we were losing my Dad to dementia it really hit home with me. They have a new one coming out this year and have released 2 singles from it so far. This is the first - Be on Your Way:

Ha. As penance, you’ll have to appreciate this excerpt from a review from your favorite publication:
Pitchfork wrote:Within the span of one song, Polachek’s voice will smear like paint, swoop like a crane, and bubble like lava.
