It took about 4 hours to get through the line. Got PJ vinyl, CD was sold out. Also got Blur, Norah Jones, and Wilco. All of them are sold out now.
Missed out on Scott Weiland, Poe, and Sigur Ros.
OMFG! I went from line to out the door in 20 mins.

Ended up at a store. She didn’t get any of the CDs but thought she could reorder them. She checked and could not but she could reorder the LP. So I had her order that for me and the oldest Weaseling will pick it up for me next week.

Got mine in Central London this morning. I diligently made my way into town from the sleepy suburbs of South London battling my way through the usual mix of tourists and weirdos that linger in central London on a Saturday. Usually the chances of me getting up before noon on a Saturday are somewhere between no hope and Bob Hope, but for this? Definitely.
Got to the store about five minutes after it opened and there was about 20 people in the queue ahead of me. Only took 10mins to get in. Picked up Give Way, Keith Richards Vintage Vinos and the Blur one. I'm pretty stoked with my purchases.
On my second listen and the version of In My Tree is amazing. Not heard this show before and it’s killer. This is going get played a lot.

Nice! I get the feeling this will not be a limited release and we will hopefully get a larger release, like Unplugged, soon. At the least because I had to work today and couldn’t make it to the store.

It was listed as a Record Store Day exclusive, and not RSD first release like some titles.
But they did print 15,000 copies of it, so it should not be that hard to find at a reasonable price.
Plus I am not sure how beholden they are to that RSD exclusive title.

I may listen to the boot from back in the day soon since I didn’t get the CD

I paid a modestly inflated price on Discogs for the CD from a seller somewhere in Europe, if that helps.

I couldn't get to a store yesterday but I did stop past on Friday hoping they had decided to put some stuff out early - no joy.
I'll stop past today and see if I get lucky. Being in a small market does sometimes have it's advantages.

But not today it seems. 2 stores, no go. Oh well.
I was holding both the live Cure album and the live Fat Freddy's Drop albums in my hand but couldn't pull the trigger on each at the prices listed.
No biggie.

Releasing a promotional live album on vinyl for the public is really a RSD modus operandi it seems...
so we can expect future releases like:
https://www.discogs.com/release/1581325 ... efied-Live
or
https://www.discogs.com/master/199387-P ... l-3rd-1994

Does this circulate? I've only seen the remasters with this promo cd as one of the two or three sources.
