Do these only come with one controller? I'll need a second one to play with my kid?

And what's the opinion on the pro controllers with the last gen? Generally worth the upgrade, or just like if you're doing FPS stuff?

The pro controller is excellent. I recommend that for TV playing. The system comes with the little Joycons grip that your kid can use. In a pinch you can each use a joycon but that experience is largely terrible.

They do! You just can't "wake" the Switch 2 with Switch 1 controllers. Once the system is on, you're good to go.

The single joycons with the clip-in adapter for shoulder buttons are perfectly fine for casual party games. I think it's pretty cool that they have that capability.

But yeah, the pro controller is the best controller of all time.

They do! You just can't "wake" the Switch 2 with Switch 1 controllers. Once the system is on, you're good to go.

A few friends and I plan to pre-order from Best Buy and then tailgate in the parking lot before the midnight opening. Two of the guys camped out with me to get the Wii in '06. It will be like old times!
