I don't think we have any museums here that carry that sort of equipment.

One of my cars has a tape deck and I still use that thing everyday. It's nice to dig out a mix tape from uni or a live set taped off radio.

I have a cassette deck in my car too. Good for playing old Dylan shows that I traded in the late 90s

Australians and their tape decks.

Yes. I'm assuming you're on a PC. Right click the song on your iTunes library, then click Create MP3 Copy. Right click the resulting file and click Get Info, then blank out any identifying information (song title, artist name, album title). To see where it is in your computer, right click the MP3 and then click Show in Windows Explorer.

I hope stip or spenno get me. I feel like if Alex gets me he is going to give me music associated with wallet chains. I don't know what that means but I don't think I'd like it.

as i spend ~1.5hrs in transit to/from work every day, i do a lot of my music listening in the car. prior to last year i had cars with combo cd/tape decks, but the car i have now only has a cassette deck. i don't have a portable music player/smartphone, either, so my options are now strictly limited to tapes or the radio. i actually made a cassette copy of lightning bolt from the 10c digital files since i didn't get the cd by release day and obviously wanted to listen to it.

so i'd be completely down with an actual mixtape exchange if someone wanted to do one in the future.

if there is still room, i think i might like to try this. if not or if there ends up with an odd number of people then id be fine being the one left out

for the unlucky soul that gets supernintendochalmers, PM me for ideas. there's a handful of routes to take with that one.

I've almost finished my track sequence. Now to just bounce it down to one single track for a smooth good times mix.

there is one song that I want to include that keeps messing up my sequence. I found a different song by the same artist that fits really well, but it's not the one I want.
