I hope so for you SA guys.
Has anyone seen Vedder shows on consecutive days? He's doing 3 nights in a row in Sydney (the 3rd at the Opera House), I was wondering if his voice will hold up.

His voice holds up much better on his solo tour than on a PJ tour, imo. He's not singing songs likes RVM, Blood or DTE.

Hmmm. Night 1 in a nice venue with really good seats (and only taking 1 day off work) or Night 3 in a special once-in-a-lifetime venue (but having to take 2 days off work).
These are really first world problems here, folks. And god I hate that term but it's the truth here.
edit: OPera House server crashed (I assume). Lucky I got those State Theatre tix yesterday.
Edit 2: Opera House sold out. Thank fuck I got those tix.

Got decent stalls tickets for the third Melbourne show. Will be my first Vedder solo concert having never managed to be living in a country when he's performing there, so looking forward to it and crossing my fingers for a decent crowd (behaviour-wise that is...).

They didn't rule out more shows elsewhere.

Cool. Excellent time to go too, with school back in and all. We did a 4 night houseboat stint on the Blackwood River a few years ago and it was just magnificent. We woke up on the Thursday before Good Friday, which was our last day, literally to speedboats circling the house boat. After having the river to ourselves for the 3 days prior that was a good sign to be getting on out of there. Great little holiday though.
I like the South West and need to spend some more time checking it out. I really enjoyed Walpole and Denmark when I checked them out many moons ago. Denmark in particular made me want to throw work in, stop grooming and start selling earwax candles at the markets for a living.
My guess is that EV will be spending his time between the BDO and the Friday show down your way, or at least at Margaret River, so if you are the stalker type...

The Blackwood River is one of my favourite places to be, so many quiet out of the way spots and its excellent for kayaking, just love it. BUT the down side to living here is there are sooo many tourists clogging the place, can't go anywhere without there being millions of people, roads are always busy and Margaret River is crap, it gets so congested and is overrated and expensive and best avoided. Broome would be the same come tourist season.....
Anyhoo, bring on Feb for EV and hols.
PS. My bro lives in Broome, if you ever hear of Squizzy.......it's probably him.
