The blame for the Falcons is more on the players than Smith but more on the schemes of the last two coordinators than anyone.

The consistency and lack of penalties is due to Smith. Dimitroff could be better but it's hard to scoff at 56 wins and 4 playoff trips in 5 years.

Mularkey was Mike Turner or bust. No ability to come
back. Insanely repetitive. This group can win games in more ways. This secondary gets 0 credit nationally but they are as good as any unit in football across the board without Brent Grimes for 15.5 of 16 games.

They still don't rush the passer well but their A game is as good as anyone else's this year. Weatherspoon is still underrated and as odd as it is so is Roddy White.

I hope the Falcons come through for you this weekend.

Thanks man, me too. I like that they are getting healthy this week. I'm feeling pretty good about it really.

I really hope he gets his ring. But, MAN, I really just need him to get a playoff win. I'm routing for the guy, more than the team, but yeah. I'm all about a Falcons victory this weekend.

I hope Tony G finally gets some satisfaction too. He could probably play at this level for at least 2 more years if he wanted but I know he's ready to retire.

The AFC games are horrible this weekend, New England and Denver win big.

The NFC matchups are awesome. I hate SF, so I am rooting for GB, but if I had to pick a winner i'd go with SF. I am a diehard Seahawks fan and I like them this weekend, but I'd like them a lot more if Chris Clemons was playing. A lack of a pass rush is what might do them in.

Phew.

I gotta go...

Denver
Green Bay
Atlanta Seattle
New England

I swore I would not vote with my heart from here on out. Last night, Atlanta was a heart pick.

These are my official final picks for the weekend.

I was one of the few people in Buffalo sad to see Lynch go, but he stopped running like this his last full season.

If we are picking straight-up winners, I'm going:

Denver (closer game due to frigid temps -1 degree is the low, 17, the high)
Green Bay
Seattle
New England

I've seen a lot of internet types speculate a blowout in Denver. But I agree with you. I think it's gonna be a tight game.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a close game in Atlanta as well.

New England/Houston on the other hand... I'm hoping for a good game, but I fear it'll the Pats are gonna blow up the Titans.
