Well, to be fair, I have been reading a lot, but since it's for school, it does feel like work more than it does like fun. I can't wait for the summer.

Man, Austerlitz is starting to suck me in. At first the subject matter and style were kind of difficult, but now that I see where it's going I'm reading ~50 pages in a sitting.

recently read the stranger by albert camus. I thought it was great.
also the psychopath test by jon ronson which, was a very entertaining read.

Been reading a lot of short stories lately. One of my personal favorites was Blood Orange by Bernard Quiriny.

I have been reading Disgrace from J. M. Coetzee, but i dont think is the book for me these days, im not feeling the need to grab it after a while.

I've been toying with the idea of doing an entire class on post-apocalyptic literature, so books like The Road, but also including zombies, plagues, famines, environmental disasters, sci-fi stuff. I asked my students the other day if they'd be interested in taking an entire class like this, and it got a resounding "YES!" So we will see.
