Okay tweaked those things a bit. I thinkEllo Sailor wrote:Love the song. Bass drum too prominent (never thought I'd say that), and the cymbals are still hissing. Still, very fucking cool and punchy. Get it, lad.Strat wrote:
Will most likely be on the new album so i took a shot at remixing it myself again. Im goddamn obsessed with learning how to mix and master music. i like this one. Is it weird to be a fan of your own tunes? I suppose if im not, why should anyone else?

Felt we needed something a little more upbeat/rock n roll. So, we wrote this:
Still need to flesh some stuff out but a nice little rough cut perhaps.

Re: Strat Tunes
I feel like maybe i might actually perhaps be developing a fan here!
Yea, no clue where that came from. Originally that was the verse but it proved way too difficult to sing over. Or at least, anything worth a damn. Turned out to be a perfect bridge/breakdown right before a cheesy AF solo

My wife is super into 80's Synth music. Yesterday we listened to Timecop83 lovers part 1 and 2. I bought that on vinyl immediately.
So, was feeling inspired.

Enjoyed that. Nice, simple riff. Good break. Solo fits well.Strat wrote:Felt we needed something a little more upbeat/rock n roll. So, we wrote this:

The one thing I don’t like is how the melody of the chorus is the same as the guitar riff. I think it really needs something counter to punch it up, make it more exciting.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

My mind kept going to a game of cat-and-mouse between some cop and a criminal on a seedy dock/pier. Very moody and atmospheric. Loved it.

Total spur of the moment. I had told myself i was done writing for this project cause we're still playing catch up on a bunch of other stuff but the way this is turning out it might be a favorite. Totally wing spreading on our usual tomfoolery. Also very difficult for me to not shred a bit at the end, but fun to hold back as well.
I actually put this together for our video animator guy as he is trying to come up with various things to release along with the music.
but yea, you guys nailed it as far as vibe.

Re: Strat Tunes
Kind of feels like a runaway freight train with a pretty nursery rhyme like melody and some guitarmony to finish it off.
