Yeah, I don't know how people here feel about spoilers for prelim stages of some of these events. In the U.S., a lot of the events, they'll televise portions of it in primetime. I'm not sure how they'll handle hockey. For the preliminary stages, they'll probably just show highlights from the games during primetime.

But, for medal events, I definitely want to wait until primetime to find out what happened.

Classes were cancelled for tomorrow morning, and I just went ahead and cancelled the class I teach at 12:30, so I'll most likely be watching the US game live tomorrow! If not, the DVR is ready to go.

Spoiler: show
So... the Americans are looking pretty impressive. It's not like the Slovaks just some pushover team, but they sure are looking like it right now.

Yeah, that looks disappointing. Are the normally good?

The Canadian men have struggled, but they're still 3-2. The women have destroyed everyone so far.

This has been a great game so far. Brutal no goal ruling against Russia.

SO lucky. Net off.

The first Period was all Russia. What a great game. Unbelievable opportunities by P. Kane in Overtime.

Shoot out is fun to watch, but an awful way to decide the winner.

You need a little luck in this tourney. Let's hope that there's more luck to come. Along with skillful play, of course.

watching curling, kind of impressed by the precision and concentration it seems to require. seems like a pretty spiritual olympic event. you have to be super zen to throw the rock well.

all the skiing events just seem like blind noise to me. I was even bored by the half-pipe competitions. some of the figure skating has been good

Some of the shots they make seem nearly impossible.
