does anyone else love radiohead and hate the erasure?
I don't hate it, but it doesn't do anything for me. Feels exactly how I'd expect a bunch of Thom demo songs would sound before they were restructured for Radiohead.

I'm hoping for both the opposite of In Rainbows & King of Limbs...where that means, I've no clue.

Love IR and KoL grows on me each time I listen...and I like the Basement performances of them quite a bit more, especially with Daily Mail and Staircase tossed in there.

Great! The couple of new songs they played last year were incredible and so different to KoL.

I really don't like Separator.

That and House of Cards are my least favourite Radiohead songs from the last few records.

When I saw it live is when I really fell in love with it.

I wish I could say that I've seen Radiohead live.

Even if they played Separator.

Lately, I'm inclined to agree with the sentiment that In Rainbows might be the perfect Radiohead album. I don't ever imagine that it will be my favorite Radiohead album, but boy is it something.

House of Cards is excellent. It was my first closer and it fit perfectly. I wasn't all that crazy about it until that moment. Seeing it live totally changed my mind.

I love House of Cards, particularly that reverb-laden vocal treatment. Jigsaw would get my vote for least favorite IR song. But even that one is very singable when you're in the car.

My brother isn't big into music at all, and he wanted to know what Radiohead was all about bc he had heard me talk about them with my sister. So i made an 8-song compilation for him, with one song from each record in chronological order. I thought this was the best way to "understand" Radiohead in the most minimal way. Turned out kind of interesting, and could easily be done a million different ways, but mine went:

1) You
2) My Iron Lung
3) Paranoid Android
4) In Limbo
5) You and Whose Army?
6) There, There
7) Reckoner
8) Codex

That's pretty good, and a fun idea.
Mine:

1. You
2. My Iron Lung
3. Fake Plastic Trees
4. Let Down
5. The National Anthem
6. Fog
7. Where I End and You Begin
8. Weird Fishes / Arpeggi
9. Separator

this is actually a pretty cool idea. i would have taken the lazy route and just said "listen to paranoid android".

A very noble gesture, but give the man 2+2=5 over There, there. That one got me hooked.

Yeah, it was a lot harder than I imagined. Plus, I was attempting to think about flow as well
