I've been listening to Comes a Time a lot lately. It's a great album start to finish.
The title track, Look out for My love, Lotta Love, Four Strong Winds...all fantastic songs.

Well there's not much more for me to really add about the Rod Laver concert. The reviews over at Thrashers Wheat cover it pretty well but I too thought it was fantastic.
My fave performances were Walk Like A Giant, Ramanda Inn, Hole in the Sky, Cinammon Girl and Welfare Mothers. There was another thing that happened that I haven't seen any of the reviews pick up on which occurred after the acoustic sets when the roadies bought the electric guitars back out. One of them had an oversized Harvest album cover and was doing these exaggerated gestures pointing to it and Neil pushed him back offstage with a smirk on his face. I guess Neil had been reading some of the readers comments on the previous concert reviews!

These shows are up on Dime plus the Drones set from Sydney is also up.
2013 Alchemy Tour with Crazy Horse - Australia & New Zealand
Neil Young with Crazy Horse - 4 shows is not enough but the last was unforgettable.
Hurricane On The Hill at the Hill Winery in Geelong, VIC. When they started Like A Hurricane I was so elated as I've never seen it live. But when the heavens opened and Poncho's organ was getting blown over the edge of the stage like a child's swing with torrential rain pouring down and Poncho giving up and then when the tarpaulin on the roof overflowed right onto Neil and the sheets of water came in they started to shut the song down. I was bitterly disappointed.
Then what ? Neil saw all the equipment was still working, he shoke off a lightning strike, eyed god squarely, and said "Go on I dare you, electrocute me it's your choice". God choose to let Neil and Crazy Horse complete the song. I have never experienced anything drive so much emotional energy through my body. Stage, performers and equipment flooded. 66 year old guys should take more care !
I was fortunate enough to see Neil and Crazy Horse in Charlottesville... Amazing show, wish they were the headliners... Had to sit through DMB for a few hours after Neil and the gang left the stage..

I enjoy Dave Matthews Band, and will defend them when the mood strikes, but follow Neil Young has to be impossible.

Yeah I'm not dissing DMB, just stating that the lineup was backwards... I mean cville is DMB's home turf so it made sense in that respect, but I still would have preferred more Neil than Dave...

That was an anniversary of sorts for DMB, a tour opener and also a fundraiser, the latter was probably the main reason for Neil Young's inclusion. I don't think I have the NY set, or at least I can't recall hearing it but I'm sure it was better than the DMB set...

Has anyone heard the Sydney shows? Trying to avoid d/l'ing all of them.
Or has anyone heard them all and would recommend the best show?

I have been digging and searchin and pleading the universe for a look into his mysterious red box.
I am not convinced this is all real?
Also, a lot of that technology shit is over my head. The whiz mods and all. Good lord. How does he have that complicated of a setup yet play so emotionally?
I love that you're doing all those random songs off Re-ac-tor.
Yeah, we have a lot of songs. We had to eliminate a lot of the old songs to make way for new ones. Let me ask you a question. What do you think the people would rather hear: the new ones or just a show of the old stuff?
Unfortunately, I think most fans just want the old stuff. People react stronger to material they know, and it reminds them of their youth.
Right. Well, it's funny. In the middle of that five-song barrage [of obscure older songs] that Neil laid on us we took a little break and I heard someone in the audience yell out, "Play something we know!" [Laughs]
