But they didn't do that to anyone in the GR. Your point is invalid.

Now that the season has concluded, should I watch this show?

Im glad Carrie Coon will be sticking around. Very glad.

Also, why in the hell did he just leave the baby on the porch unattended?

I think Tom left it there before he picked up his mom. He's not exactly the brightest bulb.

this show is outstanding; i loved the first season. it'll be interesting to see where things go - i guess almost all of the source material has been covered, which could be a bad thing. i hope it doesn't turn into lost.

They picked up the pace for the last three episodes and I began to really enjoy this.
Spoiler: show
The cheese letter that Nora never sent was great. They took that in a different direction.

So, should I go back and watch the second half of season one?

It's worth it, only because there's so much shit Fall TV out there, especially on the networks.

I thought the premier was really, really well done. By far the most-compelling episode of the series. I was actually disappointed that the season 1 family showed up at the end (even though I knew they were coming).

I think as a stand alone show outside of the premise, the first episode was interesting. Intentionally weird at times.

that nora character still amazes me at just how much she sounds transgender every time she opens her mouth.

That opening scene was riveting.
My Speculation:
Spoiler: show
That whole scene looked like it took place during the caveman era. Woman died protecting her baby, which was saved by a stranger. Maybe the area/water is blessed because of this....
