Those would be my #1 and #2. I think Goldberg was less of a dick though. Both were notorious for actually hitting their opponents (what's the wrestling term for that? I forget).

working stiff?

Goldberg at least could do a few submission holds and kicks... Warrior was punch punch clothesline, shake the ropes, gorilla press slam / body splash for the win.

Was I the only one who thought (before any news of how/where this happened) that it could've been a suicide? All of his promos this weekend were about the future, and about making sure you made the most of life...I totally could read that as a call for help, or at least a resignation. Obviously, that wasn't the case, though. This wouldn't be so sad if we hadn't seen his adorable children like 3 days ago.

To lighten things up: how about how on fire Paul Heyman was on Monday night? That promo he cut for Brock Lesnar was fantastic stuff.

“Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others, it makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized.”

Personally I will never forgive Goldberg for ending Bret Harts career

I was just reading that.

Ironically, Bret Hart never, not once, injured an opponent by improperly executing a move. Bret wrestled for 25? years.

Also, Bret missed exactly 1 scheduled match in his career. That was because of a flight problem. So he missed 0 because of illness, aches, pains, ego, dispute, etc.

He would be on my Mt. Rushmore of professional wrestlers.

Ultimate Warrior was a headcase. I wouldnt be surprised if he died by causes other than natural.

Well, odds are that it was a heart attack...brought on by years of drug use. So semi-natural?

heart failure was the cause of death.............................................................................. from years of drug abuse

What warrior did to HHH at Wrestlemania 12 was terrible, HHH turned out to be a colossal douchebag in his own right so it made it not so bad in retrospect. To show up in the company and demand a squash match from a young up and comer on the biggest show of the year is pretty rotten.

Most of the matches on the WM 12 card are good to excellent, but that one is just a joke. It sorta reminds me of the 6-man match on Sunday except the Shield squashing a bunch of old timers and Korporate Kane actually helps move the story line along.

I don't understand why that stupid women's match got more time than the shield did.

I like to think he's shaking the ropes somewhere in heaven right now.

Someone needs to make the Ultimate Warrior version of this:

The Shield match was perfect. One of my favorite parts of the whole show.

They had to give the women more time to let the crowd right themselves after the Undertaker loss. It was still about halfway through the main event before everyone seemed really into it again.

What a mad few days. The rumour I heard is that Taker's been meaning to wind it down for a while now, and that Punk was supposed to do it last year until Paul Bearer died. That would've been more satisfying: 20-1 is a more pleasing number, and Punk (in theory) was a full-timer, who could use that to become a mega-heel, and almost certainly grab a main event spot this year (which probably would have stopped him from bailing).

Glad I got to see Warrior live, and at least I can say "I was there" for the end of The Streak.

overrated in terms of what? I don't think any one considered him (or Goldberg for that matter) a great worker
