So randomly watching YouTube this lazy Saturday morning and come across one of my absolute favourite groups, Camp Cope, doing a JJJ Like a Version of some song. Watching away and I notice that Georgia Maq (lead singer) has some very familiar tats on her arm. Looked it up and turns out she's a huge FR fan.
This is from an article about her solo album a few years back:
And those lyrics frequently channeled the raw vulnerability of the best of Frightened Rabbit, a band Maq cites as a huge inspiration.
“I feel like it’s keeping him alive,” she says. “In my head, I’m like, ‘If I keep getting more tattoos, I’ll bring him back. He’ll come back.’”
Never knew the connection here. Nice.

I actually still find it a little difficult listening to these guys even still now. But been playing my all time FR Mixer today and it has been good. Cathartic at times.
Today has been a good day.
