What time does Sigur Ros come on stage? Anyone recall?

The opener came on at like exactly 7:30 and was done right at 8:00. If I remember correctly, Sigur Ros was very close to 8:30, if not a little before.

Yeah, at 8:28 I was like "I should run and take a piss before they hit the stage" and then bam the lights went down.

The day after a concert, I'm usually worn out on a band and won't listen to them for weeks. I've been humming their tunes all day and now I'm listening to "Með suð í eyrum..."
My top 5 songs from the show last night; chud, please confirm:
5. "Brennisteinn" - This song really kicks! Closed the main set, and it was the absolute perfect position.
4. "Olsen Olsen" - Surprise! I've never been totally into this song, but it really struck me last night for whatever reason. Great stuff on the videoscreen for this, too.
3. "Varúð" - I know most of Valtari is considered unplayable, but I am glad this one is still in rotation!
2. "Vaka" - Probably because it was so early in the night, because it was this song that really punched me in the face and made me think, "Holy shit, this show is really happening!"
1. "Popplagið" - Weird; I knew this was coming, of course, to close the night, and I had a worry that it would drag. Absolutely not. Each and every one of its 15 minutes were gripping.

Man, I can't name any songs except Ny Bateri and Nothing Song but I enjoyed everything.

I was just blown away by the musicianship. Everything was so precise.

Didn't mean to call you out on that, chud. But it's certainly the way the music is played that's more important than the words. My fiancée only knows it as background music I listen to while reading, and she loved it. I was thinking about how strange it is how different people react to the music in different ways: I was perfectly happy with sitting for most of the show and just enjoying every note; I think it's because when I'm normally listening to them, I'm sitting completely still. But those people behind the soundboard, I can totally see why the music moves them to do interpretive dance. I just would never do it to these songs.

I didn't think you were calling me out.
I'm with you on how I take in this music.

The positivity in this thread is pretty nice, glad you guys enjoyed (or, I have no doubt, will enjoy) your shows. Hope another round of dates hit the states with the new record.
I do believe I need to pull together A (B-Sides) Collection for these guys soon.

I'd be interested in a mix of b-sides.

I tend to do collections for the bands I truly enjoy, plus it tends to complete a discog so I'll certainly share when it's done.
EDIT: This will take far longer than tonight...

My 5-year old will love you. He's already asking how long before June when new songs are released. He's addicted to this band.
