It's not Pyramid Song, I'll tell you that. Though, maybe should tell Sail to the Moon.

Sail To The Moon is completely redundant. It does nothing that more luminary tunes of the Radiohead catalogue haven't already done.

That one just finished. And yeah, I'd agree. It's not bad, but it's average radiohead that's been done before.

For me, HTTT is just too choppy and doesn't have the "feel" of a complete Radiohead album. One of the things that makes Radiohead great is that they consistently put out albums to which, in order to really appreciate them, you need to listen from start to finish. With HTTT, even though it's got a lot of grest songs, I never get the feeling.
I'm with you on the ranking.

This album's always been a huge slog for me to get through. And, some of the best songs from these sessions didn't end up on the proper album: Gagging Order and I Am A Wicked Child.

I always got the feeling that HTTT was almost a cleaning-house type of album. Just get all the songs out there that they'd been kicking around so they could start completely fresh next time around.

Except for Nude which fit much better on IR.

Do you guys know about the palindrome nature of Nude?

HTTT is just too long, knock off 3-4 tracks and its an all-timer.

Sail to the Moon is beautiful. The remix of scatterbrain is much better than the original.

"A Wolf at the Door" is probably my favorite Radiohead song.

I'm trying IR again right now. I think the reason I have trouble with it is that it's so fucking chill and mellow. Way moreso than their previous albums. Most of the songs are pretty and all, but they don't have the momentum, the drive, the intensity that hooks me in their previous work. Even their quieter songs in the past like "Exit Music" and "Street Spirit" had an energetic thrust and darkness that pulled me in, arrested me. This album is much dreamier, more relaxed, and as a result, I skip around a lot. This kind of music just doesn't do it for me.

That's one of the worst offenders. Maybe THE worst. It's so "lite" that it's weightless. It doesn't even sound like Radiohead to me; if it weren't for Yorke's unmistakable vocals, I think it could pass for any number of faceless indie/alt/acoustic/whatever bands.
