Farewell Transmission - but I listened to the entire album and there wasn't a bad track on the list...
Farewell Transmission for me too (courtesy of a recommendation in this thread). I must've listened to that and the Pyramid Electric Co at least 2-3 times a week for months.

God dammit I'm probably getting that because of the demo stuff which I've heard only digitally before. Is there a paypal option on that site? I don't see it.

Only credit card that I could see.

I hate not having Paypal as an option. Take note 10C please.

Yeah, since neatly everything does Paypal now, from our favorite Chinese delivery place to friggin' Sears, it's weird when I have to get out my CC to order something.

I ordered the double LP, double CD version with the t-shirt. I am such a sucker.

Tell me about this man, guys. What album do I start with?

Looks like Magnolia Electric Co. (the album) is the general starting point. I also got Didn't It Rain, Pyramid Electric Co. and the self-titled debut. Where next?

thanks to all in this thread for turning me onto this artist. I'm one album in and it's beautiful stuff. As somebody who knows a bit about depression, the optimism at the end of Blue Chicago Moon after the depths it plumbs during its beginning sections, and really, after the depths of the whole album, is moving.

It sure is bittersweet. Even more so now.
