He was. I considered Banks for a bit, but I settled on Boudreau.

Outside of one or two more guys, the "elite" pitching is pretty wiped out through a round and a half. Turns out this pitchers era was just Sandy Koufax being pretty neat.

Since building a bullpen in this one isn't gonna be as easy as in the past few, I thought I'd remind people of something from the last one, since it's probably more relevant in this one. When you go to add a pitcher to your roster, one of the details that comes up is the role WhatIf considers the pitcher to be (S/R). This is gonna come in handy when you're finishing up your staff and you want to make sure you don't have too many starters (and run the risk of WhatIf relegating one of your intended starters to the bullpen).
(Also, baseball-reference has statistics for which pitchers finished the most games each year during this era, which is kinda helpful since saves really aren't)
