eddie and beyonce could do a killer duet together.

That would actually be pretty fun.

While the special announcement was lame and they do over use it, it's hard to criticize the band for playing with others - no matter what kind of music they play - to raise funds for a good cause. I don't think they've ever played Central Park, so that's got to be on their bucket list, too, so cool.
Interesting that the ten club email noted that this is the only North American 2015 show....maybe that bodes well for a new record. But probably not.

So another year where my membership dues show no benefit. Though there's always hope of a 10C only 15th anniversary reissue of TB2K, with accompanying "Merch Band 2015" bonus DVD.

If they started putting out albums every two years in return for a few years without any shows I'd be totally down with that. And I'd keep the membership.

Yes, totally agreed. A new music subscription element to the membership could also be pretty great.

50% chance. I'll guess a warmup show in Albany. Why Albany? Because it was the final cut of the 2013 east coast tour.
Your baseless speculation is designed to depress me, isn't it?
It depressed me too.

Not sure if this will affect anyone's interest in this shindig or not but from what I gather the bands only get very short sets.
See Neil Young's headlining setlist from 2012, a whopping eight songs:
Love and Only Love
Powderfinger
Born in Ontario
Walk Like a Giant
The Needle and the Damage Done
Twisted Road
Fuckin' Up
Rockin' in the Free World
Foo Fighters set from that same year:
Times Like These
All My Life
My Hero
Learn to Fly
Arlandria
These Days
Walk
Best of You
Everlong

There were 6 bands in the past. This year there's only 4. Chris Martin confirmed they will be playing a short set, but i don't know if that means shorter than the other performers or shorter than a standard Coldplay concert. 90 minutes for PJ is very possible.
