There are probably only a handful of songs that I'd put in the "strong dislike" or the "bad" category. I love me a lot of Pearl Jam. There are a lot of good songs ranked pretty low on my list. Not because they're bad, but only because I like elements of the songs above them more.

Yep, i think my current lowest ranked non experimental songs are supersonic, green disease and Gremmie, and Im not a fan of those but everything above them i do really like, they are just not as good to me

it's hard too, because there are some songs (RVM comes to mind as the textbook case) that i am just kinda bored with, but I am bored with it after two decades of thinking it was amazing. So how do I rank that. I'd much rather listen to gonna see my friend than RVM these days. But The fixer is most emphatically not the better song.

I tried to take fatigue out of the equation. I'm sure I gave in a time or two, but that's why Black is #2 on my list. That was my favorite song for a long, long time. But for the past four or five years I've just been worn out on it. I even rolled my eyes a bit the last time I was at a show and they played it. The song won me over by the end, but that's one song that I've wrung all of the emotion out of at this point.

But it's still a great song. My being sort of over it doesn't change that.

Im not sure if i remember turning mist, what was this one from?

And was sunburn the stone solo song?

There's nothing I like about Unthought Known. I like a great deal of the music this band's made, but there's something almost crass about how formulaically the song has been designed to beg the clapping of a thousand of hands in an arena while Matt pumps that kick drum, then diving straight into flat and hollow pseudo-crescendos ("...gems and RHINESTONES!") to really drive the point home: WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME, YES?

It's kind of gross.
