Not for me. Although they do put me in a certain reminiscent mood. They're pretty much the soundtrack to my teenage life, which was like 20+ years ago now. :/

I usually recoil from any suggestion the Cure are a relentlessly downer band, they do unbounded joy better than almost anyone.
