I can't stand that one either.theplatypus wrote:"Santa Cruz" is terrible. Did they really play that?
In fact, this is something of a 'worst nightmare' Pearl Jam set for me; needs more Deep, Once, Leash, Brain of J, Animal, Last Exit etc.

I hope Strat's having a good time and tells us all to get bent when he comes back.

Aye Davanita is the most likely on that list, I think.spike wrote:true. whale song is my whitest of whales.Bammer wrote:There are a few "songs" that PJ has never ever played live. Same here. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we get Just A Girl before the end of the year.Birds in Hell wrote:I never thought they'd play Angel without Dave.
Also first time Society and Santa Cruz will appear on a boot - Cinderellas Comp might need to be a double this year...

Should either open the set or first encore with it.cutuphalfdead wrote:Aye Davanita is the most likely on that list, I think.spike wrote:true. whale song is my whitest of whales.Bammer wrote:There are a few "songs" that PJ has never ever played live. I wouldn't be surprised if they play it as part of Vitalogy front-to-back at either Wrigley or Fenway.evenslow wrote:Should either open the set or first encore with it.cutuphalfdead wrote:Aye Davanita is the most likely on that list, I think.spike wrote:true. whale song is my whitest of whales.Bammer wrote:There are a few "songs" that PJ has never ever played live. Not bad, but kinda country sounding.

Unreal.
That's the one. The one I thought was impossible. Guess I have to keep seeing Pearl Jam.
So happy for Strat!

i liked it, thought it was a valiant effort. it's never been a song that translates that well live anyway, what with all the multi-tracking on the studio cut.daft twat wrote:Bi_3 wrote:

I like "Angel" a lot and thought that that was a competent performance, but I agree that the song loses a lot without the layered vocals. Still, cool.
