I mean, I get why it’s not for everyone. I’m just talking about myself.

Yeah, I had the opposite experience as bodysnatcher. My wife would have preferred to listen to Gigaton for the 100th time, or the new Phish album. But we blasted this album this morning and my 10 year old daughter & I had a blast.

My wife and I couldn't stop talking about it over dinner. We're both obsessed. The comp that immediately came to my mind was Bone Machine. Which is my favorite album of all time. I can't imagine any album in 2020 topping this.

I have "Ladies" on repeat. Occasionally I let Shameika tell me what to think. Heavy Balloon is always a nice surprise since I click on Ladies and then walk away. Been skipping around this album. Every song is unique. Great album.

Ladies > Heavy Balloon > Cosmonauts > For Her

an absolute all-time run right there.

That was meant to illustrate me listening to Fiona Apple and loving it while RM is burning around me.

These are some the smartest, best lyrics I’ve heard in a long, long time.

I really like this. Also it sounds a lot like turn of the century Ani DiFranco on a few songs (especially the title track).
