mikejasond wrote:Not the Doctor -> Digging it. I like the chorus with the harmony line the whole time. Digging the groovy drums. And the extra punch in the guitar. Kind of bobbing my head. Good stuff. Man I just love the rhythm of the chorus.

Wake Up -> Not liking it as much as the others. I think this might be my least favorite on the album so far.
I love Wake Up. But yeah it might be my least favorite song on the album, too.

You Oughta Know...Again? - I honestly am not sure what is different. It sounds almost the same to me until the chorus when it sounds a little worse. Is it just a remix? Don't get the point of this <_<. Its almost exactly the same.

Well then....

ANYWAYS

The majority of this album is great. As I said, an awesome blend of pop and grunge, with intense vocals and catchy melodies. Good stuff!!

The worst. So unnecessary.

I did not. Should I have ?

I see there's an acoustic version of this on Spotify from 2005! Sounds awesome. Listened to Hand in my Pocket. I wasn't a fan of changing the chords to be more minor and less bright. But parts of it were just beautiful. Think it had potential to be even more so.

I've gotten over the chord changes because the beautiful parts are immaculate.

God, man, these songs on Feast on Scraps are everything to me. I'd forgotten how pivotal and powerful these songs were for me in the early aughts. They formed the foundation of who I wanted to be and how I presented myself through most of college. I need to get back to that place. Wow...

It's so fucking stupid how much I'm feeling these again. Imma fucking cry at work. This is stupid.

I find it to be some of the most tedious, heavy-handed and unsubtle music I've ever heard. The productions range from boring to downright abbrassive. She does write some good lyrics, though.
You're goddamn right she does.
