I'd partake (and am Canadian).
It's still a mystery to me that a critically acclaimed Canadian institution was virtually unknown south of the border, and I'm still okay with that, our little secret.

Listened to Phantom Power a couple times this week. My appreciation for the album has grown steadily over time.

It's been a while, but I listened to We are the Same a ton when it first came out. "The Depression Suite", "The Last Recluse". Some great songs on there.
My top 5 would probably consist of their run from 1992-2000
1. Phantom Power
2. Trouble at the Henhouse
3. Day For Night
4. Music @ Work
5. Fully Completely

8 yrs ago we lost Gord.
This video always gets me, from the viewing parties across Canada on the Hip's final show. Fans happy to see the band, saddened knowing it's the last time they'd ever see him.
