Useless fact: when the science teacher is explaining multiple dimensions to the kids, he mentions Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpretation of reality. This is a real guy who was shunned for his ideas about quantum physics, but very late in his life people started to come around to it. The useless fact actually is: Hugh Everett's son is E (Mark Oliver Everett), the frontman of the band Eels.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Hanging over the edge of the bed wondering if I'm going to hurl, actually.

That is some incredibly useless information. Good job.

It's not too bad, but it's also very stupid at times. The music can be a bit much - a lot of try hard.

I almost called it a "fun" fact, but "useless" is far more appropriate.

I really enjoyed this. I didn't laugh as much as I thought I would. I think the biggest laugh was when the dad was left at dinner and he said, "What did I dooooo?" That might have been the first episode, too. That guy is a gem.

I'd say the only thing I didn't love was the set up for another season. I've never been a big fan of sequels to movies where people are just put through the meat grinder again. Pretty much every horror sequel. Wouldn't you just lose the will (no pun intended) to live? Like, FUCK, just leave Carol Ann alone already. No what Steve makes it through season 2.

Will seems to be a new addition to the Hollywood trend of having kids who are just way mature beyond their years (looking at you, GoT girl). If my kid went in the bathroom and threw up a little of what he just ate, he'd come out bawling like a half bitch. Will horks a tentacle and just sidles in for some Xmas dinner.

Finally, Winona Ryder is a national treasure, you dicks. She is great in this. And she's aging like Marissa Tomei, which is to say, goddam.

Risque? There's one sexy-time scene without nudity or anything like that. I assume it'd be pretty scary for kids that age.

My 2 year old could make you cry and my 10 year old is a better artist than you.

Can you compare it's scariness to another show or movie?

I just figure they're not going to improve on season one. I think these guys had a brilliant idea, and we've seen it. Everything else is down hill.
