But.. you were there too.
I never said I wasn't a cunt
Naww but seriously, I couldn't help but feel the painful irony of the band playing Aenima to a bunch of muscle/tattoo-clad 30 year old guys fighting to their songs.

Yeah, good point. I saw them on they pre-seminal tour (the one just before the lateralus tour), and they were brilliant. The crowd were actually pretty good. But then I saw them at the BDO post 10,000 days and it was a different story. May have been further marred due to the usual douchebag festival crowd being there.

If the next Tool album isn't the best Tool album then they've wasted their time with all this bullshit. Seriously how many tours can a band do on the back of one album? If Maynard doesn't care, I'm cool with that because Puscifer are fuckin great. So they'd better get their shit together and make a killer fucking record

Main things discussed:
•Maynard seems quite aware that some fans think he hates Tool.
•Tool having a frontman doesn’t make sense – he sees it more as a team.
•He talks about growing up in michigan with his father, and various family relationships including mother and step-father.
•Briefly discusses his autobiography.
•Talks about his experiences in the military, and decision to not go to West Point.
•Discusses various bands and art projects worked on in Michigan.
•Doesn’t want to do a Joni Mitchell cover – “I’ve already got enough shit for doing covers”.
•Discusses relationship with Bill Hicks.
•Talks about making wines in Arizona
And.....Is finally heading into the studio to work out vocals for a new album now that the other guys have enough music for him
Sounds like a poor man's A Perfect Circle. Oh well, maybe it'll grow on me.

Someone recently posted this up on the YouTubes - it's pretty good. And just before the 15:30 mark they do a new jam they've been working on that may or may not appear on the new album

Adam Jones has confirmed that the long-awaited follow-up to 2006's "10,000 Days" is "100% done."

His exact quote during a fan q&a was "Album is 100% done and it comes out tomorrow." It was a joke, and some rag ran with it.
