Gideon really needs to work on their interior lighting.

Spoiler: show
June outside of Gilead is new territory. Just seeing her in Toronto "fighting" from the outside would be boring. But sending her back to Gilead for them to give her yet another chance would be stupid as well. She should have been killed the last time she was caught. Plus, the whole "escape/get caught repeat" thing is tiresome. I don't know how they are going to take the story from here, maybe her struggle with being back outside of Gilead? Maybe she stays on the front lines? That would be my choice, I guess. But I'd also like to see her go back with Moira so she gets a chance to confront Fred and his wife in prison.

Also, while it will be an emotional high next week seeing June reunite with Moira, I have a feeling I'm going to be heartbroken about the status of Janine after the bombing... :(
I have a lot of thoughts on the spoilered part (and I won't bore you) but I'll say I think what's likely coming is exactly where the show needs to go and I'm HERE FOR IT.

God this show loves their precious, slow takes with close-up, lens flare, and swelling music

Ok my updated prediction for the rest of this season and probably going into next season:
Spoiler: show
June will obviously struggle in Canada, wanting to get to Hannah. It will all come to a head when she works out some kind of deal with Fred to get him smuggled or released back to Gilead in exchange for Hanna. Things will go wrong of course and she'll have to sneak them into Gilead herself, which she will do but now she's back there. For the hundredth time she won't be hung on the wall because Fred will protect her for getting him out of Canada. Her back in Gilead for any long length of time will definitely have this show jump the shark for me.

Has there been a show that ended so many consecutive episodes with "visual language?" I can't name one.

Great episode. I really like Elizabeth Moss. That scene with her and Luke in bed was a little fucked up.

Interesting narrative device to have the main character summarize the past three seasons in a long, uninterrupted, monologue.

This most recent episode is my favorite of the season. It's maybe one of my favorites in the series.

Lots to choose from but probably the most cringe moment in this season was Fred yelling, "You can't do this to me, I'm a MAN and I have rights!"

The line is fine. Makes sense in the world of the show. Perfectly in keeping with the character. However, also perfectly in keeping with the character is that Joseph Fiennes can't fucking deliver a line.
