I've been reading JK Rowling publicly speaking and campaigning against trans women, as well as building alliances with others doing the same, for nearly 10 years now
she is knowingly and proudly a TERF
you've wondered into this thread for the kicks without knowing a thing about the subject, with a couple of tweets from, again, self-aware TERF accounts
just say you're anti-trans people
you won't because you'll lose privileges here

You're so dishonest.
she didn't say it, she wrote it in an op-ed
This is as good as an admission of guilt.

TERF stands for Trans-Exclusionary Radical (or Reactionary) Feminist
they've also tried to soften that name to "Gender Critical Feminist" or simply "RadFem", but they are the same thing
the original "Bible for TERFs" was Janice Raymond's 1979 "The Transsexual Empire: The Making of the She-Male" in which her (and her peers') stated goal was to "mandate them (trans women) out of existence"
this is the agenda JK Rowling has knowingly subscribed to, in spite of pleas from her fans (some of them trans themselves) to step down and rethink

what you question is my womanhood, or you would receive my stance as at least equal to JK Rowling's; as it happens, you take her words as "education" and mine as an agenda

It doesnt take that much science to get that JK is pissed off with trans people, specially trans women.

Rowling has been pretty clear that she holds to the ideals and gains that 2nd wave feminists made in securing the rights and safety of women and girls, and that she sees some
trans rights activists as rolling those back. It's not entirely fair to use
trans rights activists and
trans people interchangeably in this case as there is significant viewpoint diversity within LGBT movement about how this is unfolding.

JK Rowling is a self-styled Feminist activist campaigning against the rights of other Feminist activists, of every gender, cis and trans
her clique were a clique even back in her heyday; many feminists of the 2nd wave (and prior) fought for trans women; TERFs are and have always been a vocal minority
she uses "trans activist" to deny ordinary trans women the right to call themselves a Feminist; she and all TERFs are inventing an "us" and "them" that never actually existed
TERFs argue that 2nd wave feminists won rights to "sex-segregated spaces", and that isn't true; they argued for women's spaces, self-determination and full autonomy for women, a legacy that trans rights activism continues

Rowling is not just anti-trans specifically, she's anti-3rd wave feminism and its multi-movement support of all sorts of marginalised groups

OK, can we be done with ad hominem attacks?
I know it's fun to debate Burt's intelligence, Mrs. H's legitimacy, Bammer's assholery, and my shitty use of grammar, but none of that has to do with the subject of the thread.

I am not endorsing or rejecting it's veracity or morality, just pointing it out.
