They're touring in the spring, so a new album in March/April would make sense.

There's a good 10-track album in there somewhere; it just felt a bit bloated and same-sy after a while.

you're referring to Weird Goodbyes, and not I Am Easy to Find, right?

IIRC, you liked that last album.

ST, if you're referring to IAETF, I agree. I still don't like that version of Rylan.

i actually really liked IAETF. But I get that it is monotonous at times. They could've left off Roman Holiday, Not in Kansas, and Hairpin Turns. Even leaving the interstitial stuff in, it would've been more cohesive.

And I LOVE that version of Rylan -- it's very cathartic. I remember hearing them play it back in like 2010 or whatever, and I thought it was a boring slog. The added strings and horns add some much more complexity to it.

Weird Goodbyes sounds like a Matt Berninger B-side. It reminds me of Runaway (ie, a song to skip on the album and a piss-break song live).

By the way, my two favorites from IAETF are Pull of You and So Far So Fast (the last gets me every time).

man, I love Not in Kansas.

I swear read somewhere that there's a 12-minute version. I hope they put it out there one day.

I'm glad they kept those weirder songs in for that album. I think good albums need that kind of dynamic. What would Pearl Jam's Yield be without the red dot song?

Chris gets it. My very quick re-tracking:

You Had Your Soul With You
Quiet Light
Oblivions
The Pull Of You
I Am Easy To Find
Where Is Her Head
Not In Kansas
So Far So Fast
Rylan
Light Years

tropic morning news sounds good from that snippet. it definitely was my favorite of the new songs that they played last summer.

I guess all the titles as well as Bridgers, Stevens and Swift's involvement are all confirmed with the Frankenstein bit.

The leaked tracklist should be accurate... Tay Tay, really?
