I'm in that honey-moon phase where I believe Mike McDaniel knows how to run an offense, so I'm sure he knows what to do with Gesicki and values him, so it's a good thing.

At least this means we won't have to watch Gesecki break out for somebody else even though he probably will be the same as always here.

Gesecki wants to be counted as a WR for the franchise tag. I don't think he's done anything official yet, though.

I like the Cedrick Wilson signing a lot but outside of that it feels like they overpaid for Edmonds for what he is, Bridgewater is just sort of a necessary type of evil (experienced backup QB you'd feel ok starting if Tua gets hurt because they still have Jesse fucking Davis as their starting RT), and the special teams guy they signed is a special kind of WTF

I like all the moves so far. Just concerned about the new guard's knack for penalties. Could've done way worse than Bridgewater for a backup QB. Hell, he's better than some starters out there, maybe even including Tua.

Just heard a report that before all of the Flores stuff, Sean Payton was trying to recruit Tom Brady to join him and go to Miami together.

I admit that what I'm about to say is stupid but I'd almost rather have a dumpster fire of a backup QB so if/when Tua gets hurt or falls apart there's nothing to stop Miami from losing out and getting as high a pick as possible to draft the next Tua/Tannehill/Pat White/Chad Henne/John Beck.

Dude... I dunno. So many years now I've been ok with something like this, but enough is enough. My opinion may not be great, and I'm not even sure how much I believe it, but I've decided I need to be all in for Tua and this defense, and hope they strengthen the line & WRs. I'm just way too tired of being let down by these guys. I feel like they've been in rebuild mode since Marino left, when I was only 21 years old!

It says a lot about us that we've stuck with the team for this long, through all of that. We will be rewarded soon. I can feel it. Although, it may in of itself have been its own reward; something fans of consistent winners don't know.

Oh, I don't want this to happen. I want Tua to turn into Drew Brees. 100%. I'm just saying if he goes down or sucks we all know Bridgewater ain't it so I'd rather lose the last 10 than limp to our typical 7 to 9 wins again and Teddy is probably too good to just lose out. But anyway, just a passing thought. My focus isn't on the next rebuild yet. It's on WHERE'S THE OLINE HELP!!!??!
