So Chicago State University cancelled Spring Break to help get students their diplomas before they run out of money. Living in a state with an 8 months and running budget impasse sure is a bitch...

I'm moving to Iowa

I did too, actually. I'm not sure if it was actually any better back then, or if it just seemed better because it had an air of authority to it.

I think it's more that it didn't have as much competition back before the internet.

My parents still subscribe, so I read it in the bathroom when I'm over their house. And I think it's one of the stages anyone interested in news goes through--tommy's right, it's such an old publication that it has an aura of mystique around it, and reading it makes you feel smarter.
