All CubicGames are on sale for $0.20 each. I'm not sure how many actual worthwhile games they make, but I have heard of the Bit.Trip games. Seems good for the kiddos.

Xenoblade Chronicles X announced for Switch. This has to be the last drop of milk in the WiiU remake utter. This was my favorite WiiU game and definitely worth playing.

I guess that Wind Waker Remake will be a Switch 2 port.

2024 Nintendo Wrap-Up

16 Games
90 Total Hours
Most Played Games:
TotK (21 hours)
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Very light year for the Switch. I have to imagine I will be playing a lot more Nintendo games next year if the Switch 2/Mario Kart 9 rumors are to be believed (plus Metroid Prime 4).

The rumors we've been hearing for months all seem to be true.

Mario Kart 9 is the big launch title.
Maybe 3 color choices at launch- dark gray, white, MK9 theme.
Backward compatible.
LED
Mid March release
Internal target of 16 million units sold in fiscal year one and 80 million units sold by end of 2028 (that's when Nintendo believes PS6 will launch).
Should be easy to obtain at least.

Mario Kart 9 as a launch title is epic. If that's paired with the rumored 3d Mario in the Fall, look out.

Is it? All the dlc wound up kind of oversaturating my thirst for a follow-up. I’m desperate for an Odyssey follow-up, tho.

I also hope the next Zelda keeps a lot of TotK gameplay on a giant new map and brings back dungeons.

Open world Donkey Kong not gonna be the switch 2 launch title? Lame.

Personally, I would prefer a 3D Mario or 3D Donkey Kong at launch too.

Donkey Kong in 3D is not good.

You didn't like Donkey Kong 64?

Same. At this point it is kind of hard to improve on Mario Kart. We still race with the one on the switch, and it's fun to do from time to time. But any new MK is just new courses now, and I guess new items?

They could reintroduce the double drivers. That added a layer of strategy that no other version had.

The leaks were right! Bummer we have to wait another 3 months for the software reveals.

I’ve only played BOTW and TOTK on switch.
And I can’t get any of the big Star Wars games on it cos hardware limits or something
What’s the point in a new switch?
Will I be able to now? I want the new open world one and the one before where you get to be a rebel pilot and fly ships n all that
Is it happening?
