Why are you posting on RM and not taking your son to the hospital?

Mariota did what 90% of other QBs in the NFL would be too chickenshit to do and it won the fucking game. What a brilliant play.

Titans head to the divisional round and South Park is still on the air; it sounds like he has a pretty nice life right now.

I posted that over in the gaming thread but figured I should share it here too. Its a rom hack of Tecmo Super Bowl (the 2nd one for NES) that has expanded the roster to all 32 tams, and edited them to each teams "all time greats"

Yes, you can argue some players left off, and some players stats are wonky (Andre Waters, SUCKS BIG TIME!) But for the most part, it is flipping awesome, especially if ya play it head to head with others.

I’ve been away from home for over 10 hours today watching my kids play in basketball tournaments. It looks like I missed a hell of a comeback in the Titans/Chiefs game today. Did Tennessee earn the comeback win or did KC just choke and throw up all over themselves?

That last quarter saw some opportunities for KC. Hated watching that all happen that way.

I just watched the three minute highlight on espn. Looks like a little of both for sure. Mariota made some baller plays. That block was rad.

Too much, too soon for the Rams, but they'll be good if they can lock up Donald and keep building. Their turnaround has been amazing.

The Titans quarterback threw the ball against the backboard and then jumped and dunked it himself. I am guessing it never happened before in the NFL. Oh, and then the quarterback took it upon himself to throw a block so that the running back could get a first down to basically end the game. So yeah the Titans deserved it.

The Chiefs got jobbed on the “forward progress” non fumble call. That was a sack/fumble.

From the odd ball facts department:

1. Mariota's TD was legit and only the second time it's ever happened:

http://www.latimes.com/sports/nfl/la-sp ... story.html

It appears to be only the second time in NFL history that a quarterback has completed a scoring pass to himself. Brad Johnson was credited with the first in 1997.

Johnson, playing with the Minnesota Vikings during a game against the Carolina Panthers, attempted a pass from the three-yard line during the fourth quarter that was deflected back to him by Ray Seals. Johnson ran to his right for a touchdown and a 14-7 lead. The Vikings would eventually win the game 21-14.

2. And the Chiefs have now lost six home playoff games in a row.

Nice win by Atlanta using old fashioned football techniques: Above average defense and a ball control offense with a couple special teams turnovers sprinkled in. Maybe the Super Bowl hangover talk can be retired now. I'd rather go to Philadelphia than Minnesota and Vegas agrees, I saw the Falcons are an early favorite by 2.5.
