LOL @ the concept of contact tracing.
My buddy who came to the football game yesterday wore a mask as did his kid. He pulled it off half the time we were talking and his kid took his off at some point also. What is the fucking point just stop it.

Nashville TN
Being seated for brunch downtown after a terrifying night on Broadway. I brought my mask as the website said they were required. When we arrived to check in THERE WERE NO MASKS!!
The world makes no sense. I am in peril.

How many children do we lose every year to auto accidents? Swimming pools? Bathtubs? Accidental poisonings? Alien abduction? Domestic violence? … WHY AREN’T WE DOING MORE TO PROTECT THESE KEEDS???4/5 wrote:People aren't ready for this conversation yet.Bi_3 wrote:The math says that if only counting Texas public school kids, ~1 in every 100,000 have died over COVID in around 18 months. And because Texas is largely incapable of thinking before reacting, the lack of tracing data means we have no way of knowing if they caught it school. And since we can agree classrooms should not be filled with hazmat suits, we acknowledge a limit exists in efforts to keep kids safe. So if we say that more needs to be done after keeping 99,999 out of 100,000 safe because that is not good enough… what then is the goal between zero deaths and what we have today that counts as safe enough?

Most of society became so soft over the last ten years or so that they legit think they aren't going to have anything bad happen to them. Ever. Because they have smart phones I think.

I’m so proud of you for ordering that. It’s the Cadillac of breakfast meals. Please remember to pull your mask up between bites.

We had this conversation last year pre vaccine. It’s disgraceful we’re still having it post vaccine.4/5 wrote:People aren't ready for this conversation yet.Bi_3 wrote:The math says that if only counting Texas public school kids, ~1 in every 100,000 have died over COVID in around 18 months. If everyone from the hens laying eggs to the server bringing the food have not been double vaxxed and masked, you truly are the Lou Reed of our times. Ah yes, an important reminder to mask while chewing and swallowing!macphisto wrote:I’m so proud of you for ordering that. It’s the Cadillac of breakfast meals. Please remember to pull your mask up between bites.
Also, no sips. Soak your cloth mask in your beverage and suck it out through there. This is the (only) way.

This establishment also will not tolerate inhaling or exhaling as the fork approaches the briefly unmasked mouth. Masks are to be pulled up and remain in coverage of nose.
