Of course you care. My wife just had a hysterectomy. She was super anxious. We’re two weeks on the other side of it and she’s doing great and already clearly better off for having done it. Next year at this time you’ll be so happy you did this.

i mean i care, perhaps i meant not worried about it. it is only like a 90 minute operation and the only thing i really have to worry about is if it becomes infected. My cardiologist and dentist as well as my GP have to sign off before hand. the dentist seems weird but i guess since i will be under they want to be sure my teeth are in good condition and i wont swallow one?

i met with my electrophysiologist today and went over my latest EKG. said everything looks great and i explained my only concern.

i am in a test group with johns hopkins to see if i should go off my blood thinners. I have a special app on my applewatch (got it for free for participating in the goup) that monitors afib the same that the watch monitors heart rate. it says i am in afib between 8 and 24% of the time except i feel no symptoms. if you have ever had afib you know when it is happening. turns out every now and then the app picks up a extra heart beat which it sees as afib.

other than that i feel great physically and my mental state is much much better over the last 6-8 months
Did the Mother Fucker pay extra to yell?

Got sent home at lunchtime yesterday. All her tests look good, which I guess rules out it being anything too serious. They're now thinking maybe acute constipation pains or maybe anxiety related?
She had a good day yesterday with no pain outbreaks

sounds bangin’

great weather today

took an early bikeride by the beach, listening to more fugazi live albums

did some chinups

hit the beach for a 2-hour sesh

surprisingly strong current

came back made some more chickpea pasta

discovered my drip line timer for my arborvitae had been reset

been wandering around watering ever since

they all look fine except for one. pretty good hit rate out of ~88 trees. knock on wood

My girlfriend and I took an edible and wandered around a contemporary art museum for several hours. Surprisingly fun day

What was surprising about that? Sounds like a guaranteed-to-be-fun day.

What Fugazi live albums. I haven't listened to these guys in years but yesterday In On The Kill Taker flashed through my mind.

We expected it to be kind of fun, but it ended up being super fun. What was surprising was the amount of fun, not that there was fun, we expected some fun
