i almost wanted moonlight to be a little more preachy

I totally get LV not liking the movie. It makes sense to me. But I can't agree with saying that it takes no risks and does nothing interesting. That's just absurd to me. And it certainly didn't feel like a movie I had seen before. But LV sees a lot more movies than me. So, I suppose I'll concede that to him and just say it isn't true for me.

But, man, I really loved everything about that movie.

get out was mostly fun...not that they do much for me, but there were a lot less "scares" than i expected

You know this movie, Manglehorn? With Al Pacino? It was dumb and a waste of time. Harmony Korine was in it, though, and he did a good job being Korine-y which I liked.

The only film of his that I've seen is Prince Avalanche. Which I really didn't care for. Guys, I don't need to bother with this one either.
