Called in, smoked some pot and have the first half of the day to myself. Think I’m gonna give Godof War a revisit. Feels good to be alive.

Finally started Control. Love Remedy and their games and this one seems like an extension on what they were building with Quantum Break.

I just beat Heavy Rain. This is probably the darkest and most depressing game that I’ve ever played. Child kidnapping, child murder, self mutilation, suicide attempts. Eternal Darkness previously held the most depressing game title for me.

Hitman 3 looks dope in 4k. Never played any of the earlier ones but looks like they’re very replayable in choosing hoe you want to attack the mission.

My first platinum trophy. Curious how it holds up these days. I remember being very impressed with it (even with the spotty accents and acting) the first time around.

Ha! The accents were the worst. At first I thought he had a speech impediment. I think some voice actors did both the North American and European versions.

It holds up good enough. It's not all that different from a Telltale game. I already played Beyond Two Souls. I'll be sure to play Detroit someday.

Spent 3 hours last night replaying the same mission, trying to do things differently each time. Good stuff.

Just fired up Lego Jurassic World for my kids. I don’t think this is really gonna work until they can read. Mario Odyssey much better for them on Assist Mode. (5 years old)

Ori and the Will of the Wisps plays great on the Switch. The visuals take a hit, but the art direction is still top notch.

This was one of the biggest selling points for me. I feel privileged to play it for the first time in its best form.

It was pretty damn good on the Pro too. Wonderful art direction.

You can't go wrong with both dude, do it. Ghost is gorgeous and buttery smooth on PS5. I'm halfway through the final act and still loving it, even though it's pretty repetitive...it's just damn fun combat. RE2 was one of the best releases of 2019 and if you loved the original (like I did), you'll enjoy this one no doubt.

Speaking of RE, there's a free 20min demo of RE8 available now for next-gen consoles only. Haven't played yet but the gameplay video released last week looks promising, though I do prefer my RE in third person rather than FP.
