I wonder if there's something that connects to TLJ. Maybe they want it to wrap up around the same time the movie drops for a reason.

Trailer had multiple links to rogue one. The Leia book is before rebels but not much and has loads of connective tissue to last Jedi.

Watched twin suns again tonight and noticed a hammerhead corvette landed on the rebel base. I do think there'll be stuff connected. I think it'll be something only Rebels fans will notice though. Not a major story point. Not something that will leave the casual audience confused. Like chopper and general sindula in Rogue one.

Watch these words come back and bite me and ahsoka will be on the island.

Henry gilroy who worked on Rebels and clone wars answering mad cool questions. And avoiding some even more brilliant questions with non answers.

Confirmed that George bank rolled clone wars completely. Brilliant listen.

Just finishing up Season 3. That Maul/Kenobi battle was pretty anti-climactic.

It was exactly what it needed to be. Obi wan has learned and grown. Maul hasn't.

It was also probably the most accurate "call back" or reference or rip on samurai culture that Star Wars has ever pulled off. It was glorious and perfect.

block. block. kill. C'mon! We'd been building up to that all season. We've followed Maul through the Episode 1, comics, Clone Wars, and more than half of Rebels. That character deserved a more dramatic death scene.

Why even show it? He could have just landed on Tatooine, and then halfway through next season:

Hera: We haven't seen Maul in a while.
Ezra: I heard he got killed by some old guy on a sand planet.
Crew of the Ghost shrugs.

You need to watch it again B. I was the same first time I saw it. Aside from being floored by the guy voicing Obi wan I was annoyed. Second viewing I loved it.

I still think it is dumb Darth Maul survived getting chopped in half on Naboo.

Yeah, there's that too.
