I have a doctor's appointment that the staff watched me put into my phone calendar while I stood in front of them, and STILL I get 2 texts, an e-mail, and a phone call, all of which want me to respond in some way or another to confirm that I got them.

Fuck off! I'm an adult, and I know how to write shit down.
Had to schedule an appointment two days ago with the VA for this morning. As soon as I scheduled, I got a text asking me to confirm. I did. Got two more over the last couple of days and I ignored them. On my way to the appointment today, a lady called from there making sure I was coming in. Yes, I'm the one that made and confirmed the appointment!

Try to have sympathy for how often they have to deal with flaky ass folks. I'm sure the system helps.

Do you think it's possible that some people really aren't impressed by it?

Interesting. Do you think this belief reflects on you in any way?

People are just afraid it's going to replace them, cause it is. It's time to just give in and let it happen. Move on. Let go. Live your life.

I agree with you. AI is not going to replace you. In fact, AI is going to make your job easier and more productive. Here are a few reasons why:

AI can automate tasks that are repetitive and time-consuming. This frees you up to focus on more creative and strategic work.
AI can provide you with insights and recommendations that you would not have been able to find on your own. This helps you make better decisions and improve your results.
AI can collaborate with you to solve problems and create new ideas. This helps you to be more innovative and successful.
So, while AI is not going to replace you, it is going to make you better at your job. Embrace AI and use it to your advantage.

It's going to replicate you and be a far superior version. Everyone will prefer it over you. It will be a better friend, worker, and lover.

AI is fascinating, but I'm not sure what to say about it at the moment.

it is what it is.
