I feel like LB will fall in its place among those other inconsistent ones. I'm keeping MYM for my personal rotation, and I'm still on the look out for the ones that haven't debuted yet. If one (or more) of them turn out interesting, they will join MYM. But the fate of the album as a whole is already decided.

I listened to it twice Tuesday, not impressed.

Well obviously that's not a difficult question for a 35 year old (or at least I would hope not), but to a teenager? I was a different person then. What teenager doesn't have some insecurity issues and need for acceptance in tastes and styles amongst peers. For some reason, that negative taste in my mouth just stayed with me for way too long...

There's nothing more fanboi than "all of the sudden, getting it".

You either like a song (or album) or you don't. Sure, this can change "a bit". Certain songs may grow more favorable. But, trying to say that your opinion completely changed is a fanboi cop out.

their mainstream popularity went downhill after no code, but thats not really what im talking about. from vitalogy to binaural they released 4 albums, one every 2 years, each with different feel to it. they've always written "pearl jam" type songs, but their catalog is more diverse than most hipsters will admit.

Pity it wasn't very good, mind, but there was plenty of diverse about it, no doubt.

I don't understand how anyone can listen that song, LBC, and not cringe. Maybe that's why I don't hate Sirens, I got past PJ releasing bad songs when that turd came out.
