Man, context is everything. Reading through the liner notes while listening has me reeling. This record is so potent and present. It's complete sense memory. I wonder if this will end up being my favorite Mynabirds record years from now. It's so personal and immediate. Just... wow.

The record has its own distinctive sound, but I believe that it's a lot closer to Generals than the other 2 in spirit.
I think that it might grow to be my second favorite actually.

Part of the chorus from Shouting at the Dark sounds a bit like Beach House.

Wild Hearts might actually be one of my favorites now.
I think I'd rank this album as their second best.

I have a very hard time ranking Mynabirds albums. The first one is my favorite, the rest can be in any order really.
