Shit. If they tour the US in the summer, I may have to see them again. Last year on the coheadliner tour with NIN, they only played about 90 minutes.

This might be one for Reeder but what's the longest ever Soundgarden show? I think most of the full sets I've heard from the recent tours have topped out around 2 hours or so.
There are a few shows from the January/February 2013 run that run about 150 minutes. I know the second Seattle show I saw was 145 minutes or so.

This would almost make it worth it to go and visit my Aus Neighbours... Is Faith doing a sidewave as well?

Cheers Matt, good to know.

Nope, no FNM headlining shows - they're exclusive to the festival dates.

I only wonder how in the hell Chris is going to sing for that long. Maybe they will jam a lot?

Twenty minute jams on Beyond The Wheel, Nothing To Say and Slaves & Bulldozers, please and thank you.

Chris should be able to handle a long setlist (especially early in the tour); they played 55 shows in 2013, and over most of them, they played more than 20 songs.

Like the Upper Darby show in 2013.

Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA on 01/19/2013

Hands All Over
Spoonman
Outshined
Flower
Jesus Christ Pose
Taree
Attrition
My Wave
Been Away Too Long
Worse Dreams
Loud Love
Drawing Flies
Hunted Down
Mailman
Non-State Actor
Blow Up the Outside World
Ugly Truth
Fell on Black Days
Fresh Tendrils
Blood on the Valley Floor
(Unknown)
(Improvised new song)
Halfway There
Eyelid's Mouth
Rusty Cage
Rowing

Encore:
Room a Thousand Years Wide
Let Me Drown
Dusty
Beyond the Wheel

I'm not saying he can't do it, I'm saying he will shred his voice to pieces if he tries to sing balls-out for that whole time. I'm just saying...I'm looking forward to them playing long sets!

Matt, I agree with you 100%. I think that Chris could pull it off in the short-term, but not in the long-term. We have seen this with Chris starting back in 1994 during the Superunknown tour. However, I am looking forward to seeing Soundgarden play anywhere from 20 to 25 songs, including some of the material from Echo of Miles this year.

We will find out soon enough what their setlist will entail.

The longer the set, the more chance of Echoes stuff, definitely

I wish they would just suck it up and buy their damn domain name already. No one typing in "soundgarden.com" cares about an online radio station "offering the best in House, Hip Hop, Top 40 and Dubstep."

It probably helps that there's only two headining shows on this run with a day off after each. The rest of the dates are festival sets where they'll probably only play for 90 minutes or so.

It's just feedback ringing out. They're all off the stage at that point.
